Digital Asset, a global leader in applying blockchain technology to financial services, has concluded its ‘Canton Network’ pilot. In a collaborative and wide-ranging project involving key players, Canton Network proved the interoperability of twenty distributed ledger applications for capital markets activities, including asset tokenization, fund registry, digital cash, repo, securities lending, and margin management transactions.

The pilot showcased blockchain’s tangible potential to mitigate risks, streamline costs, and enhance efficiency across capital markets, whilst adhering to stringent regulatory standards.
