It is official. After a very successful year Honeypot has been chosen as Charity of the Year (COTY) for the second time in a row.

Pirum is delighted to announce its partnership with Honeypot to support children at a young age (5-12) across the UK and it will set up a new target goal for the year.

Honeypot is the only UK charity to provide a consistent level of support for young carers: over more than 25 years, the charity has successfully built a network of working relationships with over 130 referring organisations, including social workers and GPs, local authorities, head teachers and school welfare officers to ensure that young carers who need support are referred to them.

Hayley Williams, Head of People at Pirum said: “We’re delighted to be partnering with Honeypot again this year. The work of Honeypot has never been more important than it is right now and I am sure our colleagues will go to great lengths to support and champion their great work. We`re looking forward to raising as much money as possible throughout the year by getting involved in many events and fundraising initiatives.

Phil Morgan, CEO at Pirum said: “We are delighted to announce that our 2022 Charity of the year 2022 is Honeypot again: our Charity of the year was collectively decided by all our staff members through a vote and we truly believe and support them! We’re hoping to raise as much money as possible for this deserving charity and for this reason our goal for this year is to match the previous year achievement +33%.We will participate in various fundraising events throughout the year – which we hope you can all get on-board with, whether it’s virtually or in-person.

Simmi Woodall, Chief Exec at HoneyPot said: “The support of Pirum and working with the amazing team there has been just fantastic! We feel incredibly lucky to continue with you all this year as Honeypot continues to support young carers and will grow geographically, into Scotland. This new respite facility and all the opportunities it offers, alongside our well-established sites, will help us create life-changing experiences for even more wonderful young carers across the UK. A huge thank you to everyone at Pirum for your continued support!”
