The FoundersRupert Perry: Chief Executive OfficerRupert is a founding director of Pirum Systems Limited. Rupert spent 6 years at UBS Warburg, working principally on securities finance related projects in IT. In his most recent UBS role, he was IT Project Manager responsible for UBS Warburg's globally replicated collateral trading database infrastructure. Rupert also spent several years working on Warburg's CREST development team as lead business analyst and is the author of UBS Warburg's market renowned CREST simulator. Rupert is a qualified Chartered Accountant (with Ernst & Young) and holds a computer science degree from Durham University. Jeff Armstrong: Chief Technology OfficerPrior to co-founding Pirum Systems Limited, Jeff spent 9 years working in IT developing and managing a variety of systems for use in the financial markets. Jeff worked at UBS Warburg as a senior IT project manager, with additional regional management responsibilities for collateral trading production systems. In 1999, he was posted on international assignment to Zurich, to head-up development of a key new system for allocating securities lending income to UBS pool lending customers. Additional roles at UBS Warburg included IT project management of Swiskey NT, an exchange traded derivatives client communication portal. Before joining UBS Warburg, Jeff worked for Lehman Brothers on a variety of securities lending systems including the development of LEBROL, for prime brokerage client communication. |
